In addition to harnessing renewable resources and implementing rainwater capture systems for recycling, as well as practicing water conservation within our factories, we are deeply committed to giving back to the communities we serve through the Dan On Charitable Foundation. The foundation extends its support to various causes, including sponsoring and assisting orphanages, providing aid to a school dedicated to minority children, and contributing to the Smiles for Kids Cleft Centre in Vietnam.
Closer to home, in Canada, our foundation sponsors local charitable organizations to ensure that the elderly, disabled, vulnerable, and homeless populations receive essential food support.
Furthermore, we are proud to announce that the foundation has recently made a significant contribution of 10 million CAD to the Richmond Hospital. This generous donation will facilitate the acquisition of a second CT scanner, bolstering medical imaging capabilities, and enhancing the Yurkovich Family Pavilion, thus making a lasting impact on healthcare in the city.
